Two people, including a New Jersey woman, were arrested after police discovered a loaded handgun during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 in the Hudson Valley, NY, authorities said.

A 44-year-old Orange County man was killed and another man was wounded in a shooting in the Bronx, police said.
The shooting happened on Sunday, Jan. 25, when officers responded to a 911 call reporting an assault at around 2:50 a.m. near the intersection of West 242nd Street and Broadway, within the confines of the 50th Precinct, the NYPD told Daily Voice on Thursday, Jan. 29.
