A confirmed case of measles in a traveler has sparked a regional health alert in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
DC Health is warning residents of possible measles exposure after an international traveler visited multiple high-traffic areas across the DMV earlier this month.
The infected person visited airports, Metro stations, buses, a school in Chevy Chase, and a pediatric clinic in DC, officials announced.
The public may have been exposed on the following dates and times:

A California man who traveled across the country armed with a gun, ammo, zip ties, and a crowbar to kill a sitting Supreme Court justice in Maryland has pleaded guilty, federal prosecutors announced.
Nicholas John Roske, age 29, of Simi Valley, admitted in court that he flew from Los Angeles to Dulles International Airport in June 2022, carrying a firearm and ammunition in his checked luggage.
From there, he took a taxi to a Montgomery County neighborhood, where he planned to assassinate a Supreme Court Justice at their home, according to the Department of Justice.

Chevy Chase Woman Found Shot Dead By Husband In Murder-Suicide, Police Say
A married couple found shot to death inside their Montgomery County home last week have been identified as victims of a murder-suicide, police said.
Kate Simoni Fralin, 61, was killed by her husband, William Scott Fralin, 63, inside their house on the 8500 block of Connecticut Avenue in Chevy Chase, according to the Montgomery County Department of Police.
Officers and fire rescue personnel were called to the scene around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, after someone found the couple dead with apparent gunshot wounds. A gun and ammunition were found nearby.
