Bartenders Arrested For Serving Alcohol To Underage Agents During Bar Huntington Inspection
Two bartenders were arrested at a Huntington restaurant for allegedly serving alcohol to underage police agents, Suffolk County Police announced on Saturday, Aug. 2.
The arrests happened during a State Liquor Authority inspection at Finley’s of Greene Street, located at 43 Green Street, around 11 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 1.
Hailey Greathouse, 24, of Holbrook, was charged with two counts of Unlawfully Dealing with a Child 1st Degree, a class-A misdemeanor, and two counts of Prohibited Sale to Person less than 21, an unclassified misdemeanor, police said.

A Central Islip man was killed and another critically injured when they were struck by a vehicle while walking in the roadway late Saturday night, police said.
Jacinto Santos, 55, and Mauro Zaldivar-Cruz, 38, both of Central Islip, were walking on Wilson Boulevard, just south of St. Johns Street, when they were hit by a 2008 Nissan around 11:59 p.m. on June 28, according to police.
The vehicle was driven by a 26-year-old Central Islip man, who was heading northbound on Wilson Boulevard at the time of the crash, police said.

A man was found shot dead in a Brentwood parking lot, and a 21-year-old is now charged with his murder, Suffolk County Police announced on Tuesday, June 24.
Alex Reyes, of Brentwood, was arrested late Monday night, accused of killing Alexander Velasquez in a lot at 159 Clarke Street around 4:40 a.m. on Sunday, June 22, according to a police update.
Officers responded to a 911 call about an unresponsive man lying in the parking lot. Velasquez, 46, of Central Islip, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. His death was deemed criminal.

A former student sparked a lockdown at a Long Island high school after taking a selfie with an imitation rifle outside the building, Suffolk County police announced on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
Ericka Rodriguez, 18, of Hauppauge, stood in front of her alma mater, Hauppauge High School at 437 Lincoln Boulevard, and posed for a selfie holding what turned out to be a spring-loaded imitation rifle around 11:20 a.m., police said.
