Berkeley Heights Marine Vet, Dad, Lego Master Adam 'Bull' Bolewicz Dies At 52
Adam "Bull" Bolewicz, a Berkeley Heights native, died on Tuesday, Aug. 12 at the age of 52, according to his obituary from the Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial Funeral Home website.
Born in Poland, Bolewicz immigrated to the United States, later spending 10 years serving in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army, his obituary reads.
Bolewicz was also an avid reader who loved English Premiere League soccer, Formula 1 racing, building LEGO, Stars Wars, astronomy and drawing, according to his obituary.

Former Naval Officer Matthew Maloney, Of Berkeley Heights, Dies Month After Fall From Ladder
New Jersey dad Matthew Maloney died on Wednesday, July 16, a month after he fell from a ladder, leading to respiratory failure, according to a fundraiser set up to support his family. He died two days after his 57th birthday.
Born in Scotch Plains and a resident of Berkeley Heights, Maloney graduated from Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School, where he served as captain of both the baseball and hockey teams, according to the fundraiser set up by his daughter. Two burglars were arrested and charged on Saturday, May 31 after they attempted to steal an ATM from a deli in Berkeley Heights, authorities said.
At 2:04 a.m., officers responded to Cousins Deli at 417 Springfield Ave. after receiving a report of a break-in, Berkeley Heights police said.

Two men who were arrested in Union County earlier this month were arrested again following a home invasion in Wall Township in January, authorities said.
On Monday, Jan. 20, three masked men forcibly entered a home on Baileys Corner Road through a rear window, Wall Township police said.
The homeowner said the suspects stole car keys from a counter inside the home but were unable to remove the vehicle from the property, police said.

Two motorcyclists were killed in a four-vehicle crash on Route 78 in Union County on Sunday, June 2, authorities said.
At 6:06 p.m., a Lexus SUV, Honda passenger vehicle, BMW motorcycle and Suzuki motorcycle were traveling eastbound on Route 78 in Berkeley Heights when the BMW struck the back of the Honda, causing the Suzuki to strike the back of the BMW, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
