An Orange County community is mourning the loss of Lorraine Eiben, a longtime volunteer ambulance corps member and former captain who served her community for decades.
Eiben, a 60-year member of the Tuxedo Volunteer Ambulance Corps, died on Friday, Jan. 31, her son Edward Humenanski announced.
Eiben was a pillar of the TVAC for 60 years, serving with unwavering passion and commitment. Under her leadership, TVAC expanded and thrived, earning accolades that recognized both her contributions and the organization’s growth.

As of Wednesday, Jan. 8, more than $220,000 had been raised on a GoFundMe launched to support Chris' wife, Amanda, and their three children, Roman, Jude, and Chloe, of Englewood. The campaign was launched by Dan Gladstone, a senior VP at the National Basketball Players Association.
