2 Bar Fights Lead To 6 Arrests At Hudson Valley Establishment, Sheriff Says
Two fights at the same Putnam County bar on consecutive days led to six arrests, including two people accused of assaulting an employee, authorities said.
The incidents happened at La Cantina Loca Restaurant and Bar on Route 22 in the town of Southeast on Sunday, Aug. 9, and early Monday, Aug. 10, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
In the first incident, deputies were called to the establishment on Aug. 9 for a large fight that allegedly included an assault on an employee, according to the Sheriff's Office.

A Delaware man was hit with a long list of charges and jailed after police said they caught him drunk behind the wheel on the Thruway in Rockland County with a loaded gun in the car.
Delaware resident Kellin Patrick Sweeney, 30, of Wilmington, was arrested on Wednesday, Aug. 5, following a stop on northbound I-87 in Orangetown, New York State Police announced on Tuesday, Aug. 11.

A dump truck overturned in Dutchess County after its raised body caught overhead wires, lifting the front of the truck off the ground, police said.
The incident happened in LaGrange, New York State Police announced on Monday, Aug. 10.
According to police, the dump truck was driven from a yard while its dump body was still raised.
